 WE JUST BROKE THE STEVE JACKSON CHALLENGE! MUNCHKING V. KOBOLD TO THE DEATH (Random, Horrible)! This means that there will be a KOBOLDS AT MY BABY! Munchkin card booster in 2014. HUZZAH! ALL HAIL KING TORG! You should all take a bow. This is amazing, and everyone that is getting physical books will also receive the MUNCHKIN KAMB Bookmark!

We will produce a Kickstarter Backer Exclusive Membership Card to the “Royale With Cheeze*”. *The Royale with Cheeze being the secret society of elite bodyguards to King Torg (All Hail King Torg!) and his inner circle of aides-de-camp, aides-de-chef, and aides-digestion! This exclusive membership card will be printed and included in all physical orders that will show that you are an alpha-Kobold.  It might feature a rule that will let you lord it over all the other Kobolds!  LEET STATUS UNLOCKED! 

Number 3 - THE FREEPORT CHALLENGE!

If we reach $55,000 dollars, Chris Pramas (the legendary Green Ronin himself) will be creating stats for using 9th Level style Kobolds in Freeport (and other Pathfinder compatible universes). We’re not exactly sure what this will be yet (a pdf, a web download, a collectible chewing gum set, part of In Vor’s Fist?). Also, John Kovalic will be drawing Freeport Kobolds for it. We have less than 7 days to go - the Kickstarter ends on 4/3/2013 @ 2:00pm.  We have a big challenge goal with the $50,000 MUNCHKIN KAMB set in the balance from Steve Jackson Games.  If you haven't seen this yet check out Update #4 or go to http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/kamb/

Our next stretch goal is KAMB CLASSIC!  Update - If we reach $45,000 - Chris and Dan will go back to the well and update a classic 1st Edition Kobolds Ate My Baby adventure for everyone (the PDF will be included in the BUFFET Levels).  We'll get John Kovalic do to some new art for the adventure, and you - the fans - will get to pick which one we update.  If we reach this goal, 9th Level will put up a survey on 9thlevel.com for people to vote and discuss their favorite.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!  THE KOBOLD PATCH DOLL

So, some people have asked fro a special Kickstarter Exclusive.  Others have asked for plush.  How about both!

The amazing and rad Tally Heilke (of Tally's Treasury) will be producing HAND MADE Kobolds for those who can add 50$ (us) or $55 (intl).  Check out her very cool plush work on her site!

HOW AMAZING IS THIS!  We just passed the $35,000 stretch goal - meaning that "Warlock's Apprentice" is going to get made (featuring Jim Zub!!!) .  We already knocked down the doors for the $40,000 goal by unleashing the SWAG-ONS.  We're already to drop some classic KAMB on you all at $45,000 - but here is the big one:

STEVE JACKSON GAMES has issued this saucy challenge to the KAMB Community. If we can reach the dizzying heights of the 50K Stretch Goal - 9th Level Games and the fine folks of Team Munchkin at SJG will team up and put out a 15-card MUNCHKIN Booster. The booster would come out in Spring 2014 - with cards illustrated by John Kovalic, and designed by a 9LG/SJG super team! 

While we can't offer the Booster as an add-on (it won't get made until next year), our super cool friends from Steve Jackson Games will be giving anyone that backs the KAMB Kickstarter at a physical reward level a MUNCHKIN Kobolds Ate My Baby! bookmark as part of their reward!

THE EXCITEMENT! THE THRILLS! THE STRETCH GOALS.

All my little kobolds, things are really picking up steam at 9th Level Games. Chris, Dan and John have been crossing i's and dotting t's all weekend to get some more information to you - including some exciting announcements about additional rewards.  We've already unlocked Even More Things to Kill and Eat, a ton of paper minis, and IN VOR'S FIST: The Kobold Afterlife Fun Time Activity Book!  

Our coolest news is that the amazing and talented JIM ZUB (creator of Skullkickers and all around comic book and animation super genius) has been added to a brand new stretch goal - THE WARLOCK'S APPRENTICE, a magical medley of murderous intent (see stretch goals for more). We are HUGE fans of Skullkickers and we were honored when he asked to help out! ALL HAIL JIM ZUB! ZUB ZUB ZUB!

ADD-ONS : DICE AND MORE THINGS

As a special bonus level, 9th Level is getting custom KAMB dice made. High quality CHESSEX Orange dice featuring a Kobold! As of right now, you can add 6 of these special KAMB Dice to any physical reward for $5. All dice will include a special mini-game that may be familiar to long term fans of 9LG (but we can’t say the name of it here).

You can also add a physical copy of EVEN MORE THINGS TO KILL AND EAT for $25. PDF copies of MORE THINGS is already included in the ENDLESS BUFFET tier (and in the new PHANTASMAL BUFFET reward), but now you can get it as a tasty softcover.

Some backers have asked for a way to get all of the goodness of the ENDLESS BUFFET, but without any physical books. For the digital gamer, we have added the PHANTASMAL BUFFET reward level at $45. This level gives you everything in the ENDLESS BUFFET tier (all of the PDFs, minis games, and more) without any physical books.

To make it easy for those of you that just saw our upgrades and screamed IT MUST BE MINE! We added an upgrade tier to the ENDLESS BUFFET called AWESOME SAUCE! Which adds the dice and softcover of Even More Things to Kill and Eat.

At $35,000 – we will unlock THE WARLOCK’S APPRENTICE (16 page PDF supplement)

International superspy and COMIC BOOK genius Jim Zub (ALL HAIL JIM ZUB!) creator and writer of SKULLKICKERS (ALL HAIL THE SKULLKICKERS) has gleefully asked if he could slaughter some Kobolds with dark magic! Heck yes he can! The Warlock’s Apprentice, a digital supplement, will include Jim Zub’s “MAGIC WORDS” that pits your unsuspecting Kobolds against the greatest horror of sorcery…literacy! Also included, the CODEX OF TABRIZ THE ARCANE (reprinted from the pages of the DORK TOWER comic) and ready to print and crumple “Spell Pages of the Codex of Tabriz the Arcane” to add to the insanity that is randomly throwing scrolls at players.

At $30,000 – we will unlock PLAYTEST ACCESS and PRINT AND PLAY “Quick & Dirty – A Kobolds Ate My Baby! Card Game” 

9th Level’s first card game, Quick & Dirty is a super-fast game of deviousness, luck and stabbing your friend in the face. Watch out for VOR and TABRIZ, and try to wind up with the BABY at the end of the round. For 2-5 players! Backers at the BUFFET LEVEL will get a copy of the Print and Play as soon as it’s ready. You will also be invited to the early playtest for this game (like as soon as the Kickstarter ends), to help us get this fun little game ready for prime-time!
